About Ian Griffin


external image A_DSC0028-tsxs.JPGA veteran speechwriter and executive communications specialist, Ian Griffin helps CEOs and senior managers develop strategic messaging and content for presentations to audiences worldwide. He is Past-President of the Northern California Chapter of the National Speakers Association and an active member of Toastmasters. Ian has spent more than 25 years working with mainstream Silicon Valley companies such as Cisco, Hewlett-Packard and Sun Microsystems.

At Sun he was the personal speechwriter for the CEO Scott McNealy. At HP he developed strategic messaging for the entire company as well as supporting the EVPs of Global Operations, Human Resources and the Head of the world-renowned HP Labs. Ian is also an accomplished public speaker. He has presented to senior managers of over 200 Fortune companies as well as government delegations from Africa, Europe and Asia.

Ian holds a BA in Sociology from Leicester University, England and has conducted graduate research in Sociology at Tufts University.
